Condos in Whatcom County

2004 was the "Year of the Condo." Why? Demand was high -  among retirees, singles, young couples, parents of college students, and persons of all ages who were not interested in yard work!

Developers responded by creating all manner of condo groupings, and they sold like the proverbial hotcake. Fueling demand were reports that property values for condos now are climbing at least as rapidly as single family homes. In some cases, condo values are rising faster than single family properties!

Prices now vary markedly, from the very low $100s to more than $500K. Square footage also varies, from little 480 sf studios to 3-4 bedroom beauties with more than 2500 sf.

We expect condos will continue to be a popular choice in 2005. If you or someone you know is interested in a condo, staying aware of the latest new listings is essential. These properties simply are not sitting around unsold for many months. Let me know and I'll let YOU know when a new batch of condos:

• is completed and ready for purchase,
• goes on the market, and,
• will soon go on the market so that you are first to learn of a purchase opportunity.
